《化学工程与装备》杂志创刊于1972年，是国家科技部、国家新闻出版总署批准出版、由福建省化学工业科学技术研究所和福建省化工学会主办，武汉新策文化发展中心协办，全国公开发行的化学、化工类学术期刊。杂志具有较强的指导性、权威性、学术性、专业性、理论性和实用性，是政府部门、科研院所、教育教学和实践领域的全国广大读者重要的参考资料和学术研究阵地。读者对象主要是化学、化工、医药、石油、天然气、机械制造、自动化仪表、工程勘察设计、教育、环保、市政、食品、煤炭、农业等领域的科技工作者、企业管理人员以及大专院校师生。为突出我刊办刊特色，扩大稿件渠道，尤其是增加偏远省市的稿源，本刊在武汉设立采编中心，主要负责全国各地稿件的收集工作，包括稿件的前期处理、刊物的征订和发行、广告的采集和发布。
